  • Spring 2025 A-Major Baseball
     June 15, 2025 - August 3, 2025
     12:00 am - 11:45 pm

A-Major Baseball is for players age 7 to 8. Most kids are advised to play at least one year of A-Minor before moving to A-Major. This league is instructional and is half coach pitch (first three innings) and half kid pitch (second three innings). Players should get a chance to play a variety of defensive positions. All teams participate in a playoff tournament at the end of the season, with 1st and 2nd place teams earning individual trophies. Player evaluations will be early August. More information will be sent out closer to the evaluations.

Days- Monday, Friday, & Saturday. Teams will have 2 games and 1 practice per week once games start. As the season progresses, practices are occasionally forfeited due to rescheduling of games due to weather. Coaches will communicate the practice schedule once the season starts. Please note: while GJLS will do everything possible to stick to this, there may be some exceptions. Every attempt will be made to minimize exceptions.

Location – Academy Park and Woodside Green Park

Practices begin the week of August 3rd.

Coaches are always needed at this level, along with a Commissioner who can administer the league. For more information, visit the Coaching Information page.
